Art Room Code of Conduct

• I will come prepared for class, ready and willing to participate.

• I will use materials responsibly and safely

• I will use respectful and considerate comments while discussing other’s artwork in classroom conversation.

• I will leave tables, floors, and supply sections clean and organized.

• I will complete assignments and projects using time outside of class if needed

Curriculum:

All students attend art class.  I see Kindergarten every other week, first –fifth grade twice a week, and sixth-eighth grade once a week.

 

The students will learn the elements and principles of art and utilize them in their artwork.  I will teach many different art techniques and provide opportunities for the students to discover and explore these techniques using a variety of materials.  They will explore how art plays a role in history and in today’s world.
