Teacher Policies

Parents can help by
            Modeling active participation in weekly liturgies, daily prayer, and service
            Showing an interest and assisting with homework and school activities
            Providing a quiet place and sufficient uninterrupted time to do school work
            Encouraging good nutrition, rest and exercise

Homework will come home nightly (except on weekends) for reinforcement as well as for the completion of special projects.

Tests and graded papers will come home in a folder on Thursdays for you to look at and sign if it is required. The folder should be returned the following day.

If your child is absent, you need to request that classroom work and homework be sent to the office at the end of the school day.

If you are going to be out of town, we prefer sending the homework home after you return, as our plans change from day to day due to unforeseen schedule changes. Each case is different and arrangements can be made for the benefit of the student. Please remember this is new work we are sending home, lessons we have taught in school, and the student will need someone to monitor and correct the work
