Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) Grant
The CEF grant application timeline for the 2023-24 school year is January 1through April 1, 2023. Families will be notified of a decision on or before April 15, 2023.
If funds have not been exhausted during the frist phase (January 1 - April1) a second phase of scholarship aid will be made available to families. The application timeline for phase 2 is April 16 1through July 1, 2023. Families will be notified of a decision on or before July 15, 2023.
The Catholic Education Foundation will award 1,100 need-based tuition assistance grants for the school year to elementary school students enrolled in Catholic diocesan schools. The standard CEF Grade School Scholarship is $700 -$1,000 per student. Students entering kindergarten through grade eight are eligible.
Families may apply for aid directly from the Joliet Diocese by completing the FACTS application after January 1. Applications submitted prior to that date will not be considered.
